Job description
We are seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher to join inspiring teams at various schools around Norfolk. This is an exciting opportunity to ignite students' creativity, encourage self-expression, and develop their artistic skills across a range of mediums.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons to students at KS3 & KS4 (KS5 if applicable), fostering a love for art while equipping students with the skills and confidence to explore their creativity. This role begins March 2025.
Duties as Art Teacher:
- Encourage students to develop their own artistic voice through experimentation and exploration.
- Support students in building strong portfolios for GCSE and A-Level coursework (if applicable).
- Organise and oversee art exhibitions, workshops, and creative extracurricular activities.
- Provide constructive feedback and assessment to help students progress.
- Maintain a well-resourced and inspiring classroom environment.
Ideal Art Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Experience or enthusiasm for teaching Art at secondary level.
- A strong knowledge of different artistic techniques, materials, and digital art tools.
- A passion for fostering creativity, self-expression, and confidence in students.
