Job Title: Art Teacher – Full-Time, Permanent Role

Location: Suffolk Coast (Near Great Yarmouth)
Start Date: January 2025

Key Responsibilities of an Art Teacher:

  • Teach Art across KS3 and KS4, encouraging creativity and artistic expression in all students
  • Plan and deliver engaging, inspiring lessons that challenge students of all abilities
  • Prepare students for their  exams, ensuring that they reach their full potential
  • Contribute to the vibrant extra-curricular art programme, offering clubs, exhibitions, and trips to support student development
  • Work collaboratively with the department and wider school staff to ensure a positive learning environment

Candidate Requirements of an Art Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification in Art
  • Experience in teaching Art at secondary level 
  • A genuine passion for art and education, with a commitment to making art accessible and exciting for all students
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students, fostering a creative and inclusive classroom environment
