Step Teachers are partnering with an Islington Secondary school and they are looking for a Business Studies Teacher to start immediately in a supply capacity. The successful candidate will be joining a team that acknowledges and embraces the richness that spiritual and cultural diversity contributes to our community, while also respecting the beliefs and practices of other religions in the hopes of creating a welcome atmosphere for everyone.
Business Studies Teacher - Role:
- Strong knowledge of the Business Studies curriculum.
- Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources.
- The Business Studies Teacher must work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school.
- Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- The Business Studies Teacher must be able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Business Studies Teacher - Requirements:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in Secondary School.
- Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Business Studies.
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
- A relevant Business Studies related degree is desirable.
