As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of teachers, ensuring students remain engaged and follow pre-planned lesson materials. Duties as a Cover Supervisor:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Support students in staying on task and following lesson objectives.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student participation and behaviour.
• Uphold school policies and promote a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
• A passion for education and supporting young people.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to adapt quickly and confidently in different classroom settings.
• A proactive and professional approach to working with students and staff.
