As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and on track with their work. Beginning as soon as possible.

Duties as a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise and manage classes across various subjects in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain focused.
• Maintain discipline and promote a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Offer guidance and support to students as they complete their tasks.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and behaviour.

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or similar role (desirable but not essential).
• A passion for education and working with young people.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Cover Supervisor.
• The ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups.
• A proactive and professional approach to classroom supervision.
