We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Science Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across different year groups, fostering curiosity and a deep understanding of scientific principles. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging and effective lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning needs. This role begins ASAP in March 2025.

Duties as a General Science Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in general science across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage and support students of all abilities.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.

  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative science curricula.

  • Promote a love of science through extracurricular activities, clubs, or trips.

  • Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies, ensuring the welfare of all students.

Duties as a General Science Teacher:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching science.

  • Has a strong subject knowledge and passion for science education.

  • Is an effective communicator who can inspire and engage students.

  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and differentiation skills as a General Science Teacher.

  • Works well as part of a team and contributes to departmental initiatives.

  • Is committed to professional development and continuous learning.
