Are you a passionate and skilled Geography Teacher searching for a new opportunity? Step Teachers are collaborating with a secondary school in Haringey that requires a passionate Geography Teacher with a passion for Geography and a desire to inculcate that enthusiasm in the school's students, and are enthused about the potential of influencing young artistic minds. This is a supply position and the successful candidate is expected to start immediately.
Geography Teacher Role:
- Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum.
- Organized and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources.
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school.
- As a Geography Teacher you need to have the ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them progress.
- Able to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Geography Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
- The Geography Teacher must demonstrate experience teaching geography at the secondary level.
