A Secondary school in Newham is looking for a full-time ‘Geography Teacher’ from January 2025. The ‘Geography Teacher’ will be required to teach at KS3 and KS4, so previous experience of teaching geography at secondary level is required. This is a fantastic opportunity for a ‘Geography Teacher’ to teach in a well led, collaborative and supportive humanities faculty. Key Responsibilities-Geography Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in geography.
- Develop creative and stimulating teaching materials.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Support and encourage student participation and critical thinking.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support when needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall school curriculum.
Requirements-Geography Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching geography at secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education and commitment to student success.
- Enhanced DBS.
