Step Teachers are working with a Primary School in Plymouth who are looking for a Key Stage 1 Teacher to start full time in January 2025. The role is initially for 1 academic term, with the potential for this Key Stage 1 Teacher role to be extended.
The role is at a two form-entry Primary School in Plymouth who were rated 'Outstanding' under the former Ofsted ratings for schools. The school's ethos is to recognise every child as an individual and to provide them with an education that will inspire them to aim high. They are looking for a Key Stage 1 Teacher with a positive outlook to join their team.
Key Stage 1 Teacher Role:
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum at Key Stage 1
- Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school
- Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
- Able to plan and deliver engaging lesson that can be adapted to the needs of the class
- Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively
Key Stage 1 Teacher Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teaching Status
- Recent mainstream school-based experience as a Primary School Teacher
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
- Experience working with SEND is desirable
