Job description

We are seeking passionate and dedicated KS2 Teachers to join friendly and supportive teams at various schools around Finchley. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture young learners, fostering a love for learning and helping them achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and creative lessons, ensuring that all pupils make excellent progress across the KS2 curriculum. This role begins March 2025.

KS2 Teacher Duties:

 

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
  • Promote a positive learning culture and high expectations.

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Experience or enthusiasm for teaching Key Stage 2 pupils.
  • A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a KS2 Teacher.
  • A passion for supporting and inspiring young learners.
