Class Act Teaching Services are currently looking for a Maths Teacher in the North of Oxfordshire for an ongoing supply role. The role is full time and they are looking for a Maths Teacher to start in January 2025 to teach KS3 and 4. They are ideally looking for a Maths Teacher who can teach at KS5 as well but not essential.
The role is at an Independent School who are looking for a Teacher who can take pride in teaching at the school and provide every student with a tailored education to meet their needs. Well-being is as important to the school as academic success and they take pride in the pastoral support they offer their students.
Maths Teacher Role:
- Possess a deep understanding of the Maths curriculum
- Maintain an organised and professional classroom environment, along with its resources
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the department and across the school
- Assess students' performance, monitor their progress, and provide meaningful feedback
- Plan and deliver engaging, comprehensive lessons
- Adhere to and consistently implement school policies
Requirements for a Maths Teacher:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification for secondary school teaching
- Have recent experience teaching Maths in a mainstream school setting
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A relevant degree in Maths or a related field is preferred
- Experience with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is advantageous
