Step Teachers are working with a small chain nursery in North London, they are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Lead Teacher to join their dynamic team in September 2024 permanently.

Hours of work: 8-5pm/ 9-6pm - 4 days per week & 1 half day 8-12pm/ 2-6pm

Nursery Lead Teacher Role:

  • Plan and deliver enriching classes to students within Early Years
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children under your care
  • Able to think on your feet and support children's learning & development
  • Work effectively with other members of staff and fellow early years faculty
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these

Nursery Lead Teacher Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification is highly desirable
  • Have recent nursery or school experience in a support role
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
