Step Teachers are seeking an experienced PE Teacher located in Hoddesdon commencing in February 2025. This full-time position is for 10 days initially, with potential extension based on performance and school discretion.

This school, boasts a 'good' rating from Ofsted, operates with two classes per year. It places a high value on fostering the intellectual growth of students and staff.

Your duties as a PE Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
• Encourage students to develop a lifelong passion for physical activity and health.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress, offering feedback to support improvement.
• Organize and lead extracurricular sports teams and activities.
• Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect among students.
• Maintain a safe and motivating environment for physical activities.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate PE into the wider school curriculum.

To be considered for this PE Teacher position, you will:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge and experience as a PE Teacher for secondary school students
• Passion for sports and physical activity, with the ability to motivate students.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and contribute to extracurricular activities.
