Step Teachers are currently looking for a PE Teacher for an excellent school in the Norwich City area. The position is for a long-term supply role.
Pastoral care provision is very strong and they provide a safe learning environment in which pupils can thrive. Developing strong, positive, and trusting relationships with pupils and their families allows them to work in collaboration to ensure all pupils fulfill their potential and develop their talents.
As a Long-Term Supply PE Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring students to embrace an active and healthy lifestyle. Your passion for physical education, dedication to promoting sportsmanship, and commitment to student success will be highly valued and appreciated in our school community.
The role:
- Strong Physical Education curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4 PE Education
- Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with the safe use and storage of all equipment
- Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable
- Ability to assess and report on your students when required
- Able to plan and deliver engaging, ranging lessons
- Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively
Requirements:
- Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching PE at secondary school level.
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
- A relevant PE or sports-related degree is desirable.
