This is a warm and nurturing primary school with a strong commitment to early years education. We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team and inspire our youngest learners. This role begins September 2025.
Duties as Reception Year Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe and supported.
- Use observation and assessment effectively to track children's progress and plan next steps.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children's development.
- Encourage children's personal, social, and emotional growth through structured play and interactive learning experiences.
- Maintain a well-organised and engaging learning space with high-quality resources.
Ideal Reception Year Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in Early Years education.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles.
- A creative and engaging approach to teaching that inspires young learners.
- Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children as a Reception Year Teacher.
- Enthusiasm for outdoor learning, play-based approaches, and hands-on experiences.
