We have a school that is looking for a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a significant impact in the early years of children's education, helping to lay the foundation for their future learning. This role begins March 2025.

Duties as a Reception Year Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Assess and track children’s development, identifying and supporting individual learning needs
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
• Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through structured and free play activities
• Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to provide high-quality early years education
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support children's learning and development at home
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and encourage positive interactions among pupils
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events

Ideal Reception Year Teacher:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience or strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• Be passionate about early childhood education and child development
• Demonstrate creativity and enthusiasm in lesson planning and delivery
• Have excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment as a Reception Year Teacher.
• Be committed to continuous professional development and teamwork
