We have a school that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to support students and teachers across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in students' learning experiences and development. This role begins March 2025.

Duties as a Secondary Teaching Assistant:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted support
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
• Help prepare lesson materials and resources
• Support students with additional learning needs, including SEND and EAL learners
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assist in extracurricular activities and school events as needed

Ideal Secondary Teaching Assistant:

• A passion for supporting students’ education and well-being
• Experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A patient and adaptable approach to working with different learning needs as a Secondary Teaching Assistant.
• A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is desirable
