Step Teachers are working with a high achieving all girls’ school in Wandsworth, Southwest London who are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, committed, and inspiring Teacher of Social Sciences, & Vocational Subjects to join them from January 2025 until the end of the academic year in July 2025. The Social Sciences & Vocational Subjects Teacher will need to have subject knowledge to teach sociology, psychology, T Level Education & BTEC Health & Social Care. The school is a popular, highly successful, multi-cultural school located in Wandsworth with easy access by public transport to the surrounding areas. Under the former OFSTED rating, the school was rated ‘Good’ and has been awarded the Professional Development Platinum Mark by UCL (Institute of Education)

Social Sciences & Vocational Subjects Teacher Responsibilities:

  • The Social Sciences & Vocational Subjects Teacher should foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
  • As a Social Sciences & Vocational Subjects Teacher you will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive Social Sciences & Vocational Subjects lessons that inspire curiosity and foster a deep understanding of Social science.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • The Social Sciences & Vocational Subjects Teacher should contribute to extracurricular activities and events within the school community.
