Schools around Oxford are seeking dedicated and caring Teaching Assistants to join their supportive teams. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside their experienced teachers and provide essential support to students, helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment. Duties as a Teaching Assistant:
Support the classroom teacher in the delivery of lessons, ensuring students are engaged and supported in their learning
Assist in the preparation and organisation of teaching materials and resources
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students, including those with additional learning needs
Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing feedback to the teacher
Support with classroom management and the implementation of behavioural strategies
Work closely with other staff members, parents, and carers to ensure the well-being of all students
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
Experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role (desirable, but not essential)
A passion for working with children and supporting their learning
Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a Teaching Assistant.
Patience, flexibility, and a proactive approach to supporting students
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all children
