Schools around Oxford are seeking  dedicated and caring Teaching Assistants to join their supportive teams. Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

• Support the classroom teacher in the delivery of lessons, ensuring students are engaged and supported in their learning

• Assist in the preparation and organisation of teaching materials and resources

• Provide one-to-one or small group support to students, including those with additional learning needs

• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing feedback to the teacher

• Support with classroom management and the implementation of behavioural strategies

• Work closely with other staff members, parents, and carers to ensure the well-being of all students

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role (desirable, but not essential)

• A passion for working with children and supporting their learning

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as a Teaching Assistant.

• Patience, flexibility, and a proactive approach to supporting students

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all children
