Job description

Position: Year 2/3 Teacher

Location: Edmonton

Start Date: ASAP

Type: Part-time (Tuesdays)

Step Teachers are working with a school in Edmonton to find a passionate Year 2/3 Teacher to join their team on a supply basis. If you are a dynamic and dedicated Year 2/3 Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities, we want to hear from you!

Year 2/3 Teacher – Role:

  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the KS1 & KS2 curriculums and plan and deliver engaging lessons accordingly.
  • Maintain a well-organised classroom environment, ensuring the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members throughout the school to support the holistic development of students.
  • Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively.

 Year 2/3 Teacher – Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have recent mainstream primary school-based experience.
  • Demonstrate a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
