Job description
As Oxfordshire's leading supply teaching agency, Class Act Teaching Services are currently looking for a Year 3 Class Teacher in a Primary School in Wantage. This Year 3 Class Teacher position is part time, Monday to Wednesday, starting in November and continuing until at least the end of term with the view to being extended. This is a job-share role and will involve planning marking and reporting.
This two form-entry Primary School has it’s values centred in giving children education that will allow them to flourish, both academically and as individuals. This school is rated ‘Good’ under the former Ofsted ratings for schools.
Year 3 Class Teacher Role:
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
- Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school
- Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students
- Able to plan and deliver engaging lesson that can be adapted to the needs of the class
- Implement consistent behaviour management techniques in the classroom
- Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively
Year 3 Class Teacher Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teaching Status
- Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching in a Primary School
- Experience working with SEND is desirable
