Job description

This school is looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 3/4 Teacher to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a mixed-age class, helping pupils develop confidence and key skills as they progress through Key Stage 2. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as a Year 3/4 Teacher:

 

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of both Year 3 and Year 4 pupils

  • Differentiate teaching and learning to ensure all pupils are challenged and supported

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support development

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages independence and curiosity

  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to enhance pupil learning and well-being

  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events

Ideal Year 3/4 Teacher:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching in KS2, ideally with mixed-age classes (ECTs welcome to apply)

  • Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for all pupils

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Year 3/4 Teacher.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all children
