Job description
Step Teachers are working closely with a Primary School in Tottenham that achieved an "Outstanding" result under Ofsted's previous rating system to find a Year 5 Teacher that is committed to providing an enriching and inclusive educational experience for a "dream class" of students. This school strives to create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive, and the role would include shared responsibilities for planning lessons that will contribute towards this atmosphere. This Year 5 Teacher would join the school's team for maternity cover from January to July 2025, with the potential for a transition into permanent employment afterwards.
Year 5 Teacher - Role:
- Collaborating with fellow educators and school staff to ensure a seamless learning experience.
- Planning, delivering, and assessing a dynamic curriculum tailored to Year 5 students
- Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.
- Providing a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.
Year 5 Teacher - Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- Have recent mainstream primary school-based experience.
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
