This school is looking for a dedicated and inspiring Year 5 Teacher to join their enthusiastic and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to guide pupils through a crucial stage of their education, helping them build confidence and prepare for their final year in Key Stage 2. This role begins May 2025.

Duties as a Year 5 Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, ensuring all students are supported and challenged appropriately
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages independence and a love for learning
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
• Support children’s academic, social, and emotional development
• Maintain high standards of behaviour management and classroom discipline
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to enhance pupils’ learning experiences
• Contribute to school life, including extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development

Ideal Year 5 Teacher:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience or a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Be passionate about teaching and helping children reach their full potential
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and creative teaching strategies as a Year 5 Teacher
• Be committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment
• Be a reflective practitioner who is eager to develop their skills and contribute to the school’s success
