Step Teachers is looking for a Year 6 Class Teacher to take on a temporary role starting in January 2024 until the end of the academic year. This role is suitable for a teacher looking to set the foundations for their students to go on and become lifelong learners.

This Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school with the central aim being to allow every student to reach their full potential in a happy and healthy learning environment. It is a 3-form entry primary school that offers support in all aspects of a student's development.

Role:

• Strong knowledge of the curriculum at Key Stage 2

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school

• Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students

• Able to plan and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification

• Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching in a Primary School

• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management

• Experience working with SEND is desirable
