This school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students through a crucial stage in their primary education, preparing them for their transition to secondary school. This role begins March 2025.

Duties as a Year 6 Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum
• Prepare students for SATs and ensure they achieve their full potential
• Assess, monitor, and support student progress through constructive feedback
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to support student development
• Encourage students’ confidence and independence as they prepare for secondary education

Ideal Year 6 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in Education or a related subject
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Passion for teaching and helping children reach their potential as a Year 6 Teacher.
• Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
