Step Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a reputable secondary school in Weybridge on a long-term supply basis starting this September. The ideal candidate needs to be experienced and possess the ability or flexibility to teach DT. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' artistic development while working within a supportive and dynamic educational environment.

Art Teacher – Role:

• Plan and deliver creative and inspiring art lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities.
• Develop comprehensive lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and national standards.
• Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic growth.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.

 Art Teacher – Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience as an Art Teacher in a UK-based school.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Art and Design.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
