Job description

A well-regarded secondary school in Islington is seeking a detail-oriented Attendance Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis starting in April 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Attendance Administrator with a background in school administration and proficiency in Arbor. This role offers a competitive hourly rate paid via PAYE. As an Attendance Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate student attendance records and supporting the school’s pastoral team. The ideal Attendance Administrator will be confident using Arbor, handling attendance-related queries, and liaising with staff, students, and parents to maintain efficient school operations.

Duties as an Attendance Administrator:

  • Accurately record and monitor student attendance, ensuring compliance with school policies.
  • Use Arbor to update and manage attendance data efficiently.
  • Support staff and parents with attendance-related inquiries.
  • Work closely with the pastoral team to address attendance concerns.
  • Provide administrative support to the school’s attendance office

Ideal Attendance Administrator:

  • Experienced Attendance Administrator: Must have previous administration experience in a secondary school setting.
  • Arbor Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Arbor is essential.
  • Organised and Detail-Oriented: A proactive Attendance Administrator who can manage data accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to liaise effectively with parents, students, and school staff.
