Step Teachers are working with a Secondary School in Cambridge  and they are on the lookout for a dynamic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join their vibrant teaching team in Permanent role which is set to start in February 2025.

Duties as a Computer Science Teacher:

• Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
• Teach Computer Science across a range of year groups (Key Stages 3-4).
• As a Computer Science Teacher you should encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills through practical Computer Science projects.
• Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
• Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
• Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Ideal Computer Science Teacher:

• Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
• Have recent experience as a Secondary level Computer Science Teacher.
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
• Immediate availability to teach until the end of term
