Class Act Teaching Services are currently looking for a Computer Science Teacher in Oxford to start in September 2024 for a long term supply position. This Computer Science Teacher role involves planning and marking across all year groups; it is initially ongoing until the end of December with the potential to be extended beyond.

The overriding aim of this Secondary School is allow every students to flourish in a learning environment that is has high expectations whilst being nurturing. The school are graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted across all areas. 

Computer Science Teacher Role:

• Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Computer Science curriculum
• Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
• Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
• Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these

Computer Science Teacher Requirements:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in secondary school
• Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Computer Science Teacher in a Secondary School
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
• A relevant Computer Science related degree is desirable.
• SEND experience is desirable
