If so, we want to hear from you! As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of students’ education during teacher absences. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate seeking hands-on classroom experience and looking to develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive school environment. This role is scheduled to start in January 2025.
Cover Supervisor Role:
- Lead classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a supportive and productive learning environment for students.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, contributing to a collaborative school community.
- Apply your subject knowledge and expertise to support student learning and engagement across various subjects and age groups.
- Assist with classroom management and administrative tasks, honing your organizational and leadership skills.
- Gain practical experience that aligns with your academic background and interests, helping you make informed decisions about your future career path.
Cover Supervisor Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any field.
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or related role is preferred but not required.
- Openness to learning and adapting to new environments, with a passion for making a positive impact in education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and colleagues effectively.
- Desire to gain practical experience that supports your long-term career aspirations and personal growth.
- Enhanced DBS.
