Class Act Teaching Services are working with a Secondary School in Banbury that are looking for a Humanities Teacher to start in April for a long term supply role. The role is for one academic term and the school are looking for a Humanities Teacher who embrace the schools' aims of nurturing a drive to learn and giving student the belief they can achieve. There is the potential for this role to become permanent in the new academic year.
Humanities Teacher Role:
- Good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Humanities curriculum; including History, Geography and Religious Studies
- Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
- Maintain an organised and professional classroom with all of the associated resources
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
- Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these
Humanities Teacher Requirements:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in Secondary School
- Recent experience as a Humanities Teacher at Secondary School level
- A relevant Humanities related degree is desirable
