Duties as a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain engaged in their learning.
• Maintain classroom discipline in line with school policies.
• Provide support to students, answering questions and offering guidance where needed.
• Liaise with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills as a Cover Supervisor.
• A confident, adaptable, and proactive approach.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
