Job description

Step Teachers are working with Secondary school in Barnet that are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to start immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves drama and wants to make a meaningful impact in a short time.

Drama Teacher - Role:

  • Willing to take a well-established and successful drama department to the next level.
  • Strong knowledge of the drama curriculum.
  • Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school.
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress.
  • Able to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Drama Teacher - Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Drama Teacher at secondary level.
