Are you looking for your next permanent teaching role? A secondary school in Greenwich are looking for a Religious Education teacher to join them as soon as possible on a permanent basis. The Religious Education teacher will be expected to teach at KS3, KS4, and KS5 so previous experience is essential, although ECT’s are also welcome to apply. This is a permanent Religious Education teaching role at a popular, oversubscribed, and vibrant learning community. Pupils’ behaviour at the school is typically good and well managed by teachers, and leaders have high ambitions for their pupils.
Religious Education Teacher – Role:
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Religious Education curriculum.
- Maintain an organised and professional classroom environment with all the associated resources.
- Collaborate effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school.
- Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress.
- A Religious Education Teacher should ensure compliance with the school’s policies and implement them reliably.
- As a Religious Education Teacher you must plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
Religious Education Teacher – Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
- A desire to contribute to the vibrant school community and engage in extracurricular activities.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level.
