Step Teachers are working with a ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated Academy located in Enfield, And are seeking an English Teacher to start immediately or in September 2024 in a Supply (Part-time position), Where they will be joining a team that recognizes and celebrates the richness that spiritual and cultural diversity brings to our community, respecting the beliefs and practices of other faiths in the hope that we will provide a welcoming environment for all.
As the ideal English Teacher for this role, you will:
- As an English Teacher, you need to be able to possess a strong knowledge of the English language and English Literature curriculum at the KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Upkeep a clean, tidy, and considerate classroom environment.
- Display a strong, mentoring personality toward students.
- As an English Teacher, you must be able to cultivate positive relationships with students, working to inspire good behavior and a passion for learning.
- Cooperate with and support your colleagues and additional classroom staff.
- Comply with and implement the school's policies and participate in their support. educational ethos.
Requirements for an English Teacher:
- QTS or equivalent.
- Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching English.
- A relevant English-related degree is desirable.
