Position: English Teacher

Location: Edmonton, London

Start Date: September 2024 

Type: Full-time

Step Teachers are working with a school located in Edmonton that is looking for an English Teacher to start in September 2024 on a supply basis. This is a "Good" Ofsted-rated school where students benefit from a positive and supportive learning environment.

English Teacher - Role:

  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum
  • Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and associated resources
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
  • Compliance with the school's policies and reliable implementation of these

English Teacher - Requirements:

  • A relevant English-related degree is desirable
  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience as an English Teacher at a secondary school level
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
