We are looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a team at a wonderful school. The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students to develop a love for English language and literature. This role is for September 2025.

Duties as an English Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons.
• Teach students at [KS3/KS4/KS5], ensuring excellent progress and attainment.
• Encourage students to develop strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Prepare students for GCSE/A-Level exams through structured teaching and targeted intervention.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as a book club, drama productions, or creative writing workshops.

Ideal English Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in English, Literature, or a related field.
• Experience teaching English at [Secondary/Post-16] level.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for literature and language, inspiring students to engage with texts.
• Commitment to continuous professional development as an English Teacher.
• A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
