We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a prestigious school in Oxford. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop strong literacy skills, a love for literature, and confidence in communication. This role begins in March 2025.

Duties as an English Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Teach a range of texts, from classic literature to modern works.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Encourage creativity and critical thinking in the classroom.
• Prepare students for GCSE/A-Level exams (if applicable).
• Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as book clubs or drama productions.

Ideal English Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in English, Literature, or a related subject.
• Experience teaching English across different key stages.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills as an English Teacher.
• A commitment to inspiring and supporting students.
