We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join our vibrant Design & Technology department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food education, nutrition, and practical cookery, with the ability to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, possibly KS5.

You will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging lessons that promote healthy lifestyles, build confidence in the kitchen, and develop essential life skills. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Food Technology Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons in line with national curriculum requirements.

• Teach practical and theoretical elements of food preparation, nutrition, and food science.

• Support students of all abilities to make progress and achieve their full potential.

• Ensure a safe, hygienic, and well-organised classroom environment.

• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities such as clubs and competitions.

Ideal Food Technology Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for food education.

• Experience of teaching Food Technology at secondary level (KS3/KS4, and KS5).

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills as a Food Technology Teacher.

• A proactive and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
