Ignite Culinary Passions as a Long-Term Supply Food Technology Teacher in the Serene North Norfolk District!

Step Teachers are currently seeking a Food Technology Teacher for an excellent secondary school to start ASAP. As a Long-Term Supply Food Technology Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the culinary talents of our students and guiding them through the exciting world of food technology.

The school is proud of the fact that they are able to offer a personalised approach to teaching that meets the need of all students and are excited to have the opportunity to welcome a new member of staff to the team.

Role:

  • Good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Food Technology
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
  • Maintain an organised and professional classroom with all of the associated resources
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these

Requirements:

  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
  • A relevant related degree is desirable
