Job description

An exciting opportunity awaits you at an all-girls school in Tower Hamlets. The school is seeking a Food Technology Teacher to join their team from January, teaching food technology to students from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level. This long-term food technology is full-time. The school is easily accessible by public transport from various parts of London.

Food Technology Role:

  • Strong knowledge of the food technology curriculum.
  • Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school.
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress.
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

 Food Technology Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching food technology at secondary level.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
  • A desire to contribute to the vibrant school community and engage in extracurricular activities.
