Step Teachers are seeking an experienced General Science Teacher located in Bungay commencing in February 2025. This full-time position is for 15 days initially, with potential extension based on performance and school discretion.

Your duties as a General Science Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of students of all abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to promote improvement.
- Encourage students to develop a deep understanding of scientific principles through hands-on experiments and practical activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the school’s science curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of student progress and wellbeing.
- Attend and contribute to department meetings and school events.
To be considered for this General Science Teacher position, you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Science or related field (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, etc.).
- Experience teaching science in a secondary school setting (preferred but not essential).
- Strong knowledge of the science curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students as a General Science Teacher.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate lessons for diverse learners.
