Duties as a General Science Teacher:

• Teach a broad range of science topics (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged to participate.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance learning experiences.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and share best practices.
• Support students in preparing for assessments and examinations.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Ideal General Science Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Science or a related field.
• A strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• The ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics confidently.
• A passion for inspiring and motivating students in science.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a General Science Teacher.
• A commitment to professional development and collaborative working.
• Experience in teaching A-Level Science (desirable, but not essential).
