Duties as a General Science Teacher:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 in line with the national curriculum.
• Inspire students to develop a passion for science through interactive learning.
• Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Encourage independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department and across the school.
• Support students in their development of practical science skills through lab-based activities.

Ideal General Science Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• A strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and a passion for the subject.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in learning.
• A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as a General Science Teacher.
• A commitment to raising student achievement and supporting individual needs.
