Position: Geography Teacher

Location: East Barnet, London

Start Date: September 2024

Step Teachers are currently looking for a Geography Teacher for a full-time permanent role from September 2024.

The Geography Teacher role is full-time starting in September 2024 where you will be teaching geography across mainly key stages 3 and 4.

Geography Teacher Role:

• Good knowledge of the Geography curriculum at KS3 and KS4.
• Maintain an organised and professional classroom with all the associated resources.
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school.
• Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Geography Teacher Requirements:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in Secondary school.
• Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching Geography at Secondary school level.
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
• A relevant Geography related degree is desirable.
