Schools around Cambridgeshire are  looking for enthusiastic and dedicated German Teachers to join their Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) departments. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students in learning German, helping them develop their language skills and cultural understanding. This role begins February 2025.

Duties as a German Teacher:

• Foster a love for languages through interactive and immersive teaching methods.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams, ensuring excellent progress and achievement.
• Develop and adapt teaching materials to suit different learning needs.
• Promote cultural awareness by integrating aspects of German culture, history, and traditions into lessons.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support their language development.
• Work collaboratively with the MFL department and contribute to extracurricular activities, such as language clubs or trips abroad.

Ideal German Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• A degree in German, Modern Foreign Languages, or a related subject.
• Experience teaching German at secondary school level (desirable but not essential for ECTs).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills as a German Teacher.
• Passion for language teaching and the ability to inspire students.
