Job description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ICT Teacher to join their school and inspire students in the field of Information and Communication Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering digital literacy, and equipping students with essential technological skills. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as an ICT Teacher:

 

  • Plan and deliver ICT lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Teach students about computer systems, programming, and digital applications.
  • Develop engaging teaching materials and resources.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback for improvement.
  • Encourage creativity and problem-solving through technology-based projects.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and teaching methods.

Ideal ICT Teacher:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Diploma in Education) is an advantage.
  • Experience in teaching ICT at [primary/secondary/tertiary] level preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, software, and IT systems.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills as an ICT Teacher
  • Passionate about technology and education.
