Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive School in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage young learners during a crucial stage of their education.

Duties as a KS1 Teacher:

 

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, ensuring that all children are supported and challenged appropriately
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupils’ development
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community

Ideal KS1 Teacher:

 

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Has experience teaching in KS1 or is an early career teacher with relevant training
  • Is passionate about early years education and creating engaging learning experiences
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire young learners
  • Works well as part of a team and contributes to a positive school ethos
