Duties as a Year 2/3 Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Support pupils in their transition from KS1 to KS2, ensuring continuity and progression in their learning.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and interventions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and events.
Ideal Year 2/3 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or a strong understanding of teaching in KS1 and/or lower KS2.
- A passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to inspire and engage pupils.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Year 2/3 Teacher.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and school improvement.
